It has been four weeks since Escaneno, ridden by Lisa Lindner, brought our stallion show in Hünxe to a convincing close. As the breeders of this seven-year-old son of Escamillo, we are naturally biased, but his outstanding performances right from the start naturally raised expectations. He finished the sport tests at the start of his career under saddle as the best in the class three times in a row, and last year the Hanoverian stallion took seventh place in the World Championship final for young dressage horses.
On Friday, Lisa and Escaneno competed in a Bundeschampionat qualifier – an S-level dressage test – at the show in Datteln, and once again the stallion, owned by BG Wahler & Schult, put in a convincing performance.
A score of 74.12% secured second place in the test and a ticket to Warendorf!
Things are going brilliantly early in the season – let’s hope it continues this way.
