VALDIVIANI - SIR DONNERHALL I

Rhineland · bay · 2021 · Height: 169 cm

Description

VJENTO, the premium stallion of the Hanoverian Licensing 2023, was a celebrated favorite of the public with a dream score of 10.0 for trot. From the first day of the licensing, the VALDIVIANI son out of a dam by Sir Donnerhall I – Riccio, bred by the breeding community Wencek, attracted attention, especially for his outstanding movement in the trot.

VJENTO’s sire, VALDIVIANI, the eight-year-old son of Veneno from a Fidertanz – Pit I mare, is also available this year through the Schult Stallion Station. VALDIVIANI is now victorious up to S*-level dressage and placed 5th at the 2023 World Championships for Young Dressage Horses in Ermelo among seven-year-olds.

As the focus for the stallion, bred by Roger Ballmann and owned by Madeleine Winter-Schulze, remains on sporting development by Isabell Werth this year as well, he is exclusively available through frozen semen.

This was another reason not to sell this very special VALDIVIANI son through the Hanoverian Stallion Market but to retain him to offer this top genetics to our breeders through fresh semen.

The dam’s sire, Sir Donnerhall I, a son of the breeding legend Sandro Hit, fathered 218 offspring in S-level dressage. His offspring’s lifetime earnings sum is more than 1.8 million Euros. He boasts 194 approved sons and 315 premium and state premium mares. He was a Bundeschampion and Vice-World Champion of dressage horses (5yo), advanced to the grand prix level, and ranks 10th in the WBFSH list of the world’s best dressage horse sires in 2023 (ranked 3rd in 2022, 4th in 2021). Sir Donnerhall’s dam, Contenance D, is a daughter of Donnerhall, who has unique achievements both as a competitor with his constant rider Karin Rehbein and as a sire.

VJENTO’s dam line is thoroughly successful. His dam, St.Pr.St. Sri Lanka (Sir Donnerhall – Riccio), passed a good mare performance test. She is the dam of the Hanoverian premium mare Veluwe, nominated for the Herwart von der Decken Show, where she was awarded 1st premium. Granddam St.Pr.St. Rafaela (by Riccio) produced the Rhineland mare Santander (by Sandro Hit), a Bundeschampionat participant and successful in Grand Prix with scores up to 74%.

Rafaela’s dam, Donna-Rafaela, from mating with Fürst Fohlenhof, produced Fürstin Fee, victorious up to St. Georg level. She is also the mother of the Hanoverian premium stallion Rom (by Revolution) and Solo Mio (by Stanford), a premium stallion in Verden 2016, participant in the World Championships for Young Dressage Horses, and successful in Grand Prix up to 74%.

The best dressage genetics flow in the veins of this highly talented young stallion, and we are very much looking forward to his further sporting and breeding development!
