Description
FEINSCHMECKER already provided clear indications of his riding horse qualities at the 2023 Westphalian Main Licensing due to his movement potential and willingness to perform. His first starts in tests for young riding horses last year were very promising. In August, the Franklin son took 4th place at the Verden Championships under the saddle of Linda Weiß with a score of 8.2, followed by a 2nd place in a test for young riding horses in September with a final score of 8.3.
The stallion impresses above all with his great impulsion, rhythm and enormous rideability.
The Hanoverian passed his short dressage test in Vechta at the end of January with a final score of 7.94.
The pedigree of this promising youngster is peppered with top references. Feinschmecker’s sire, elite stallion Franklin, started his career as a KWPN Champion Stallion, HLP winner in the Netherlands, finalist at the World Championships for Young Dressage Horses and placed in the international Small Tour. Under Malin Wahlkamp-Nilsson/SWE, he has since added successes in the Grand Prix arena. 19 of his sons have been licensed. The Louisdor Prize winner, winner of the Aachen Nations’ Cup and German Vice Champion, Fendi/Sönke Rothenberger, the international St. Georges-placed Elektra di Fonte
Abeti/Juliette Ramel/SWE and Francis Drake OLD/Leonie Richter, who finished eighth in the World Championships for Young Dressage Horses.
Franklin’s sire Ampère, himself a KWPN Champion Stallion and HLP winner, produced the successful Grand Prix stallions Abegglen FH NRW/Victoria Max-Theurer/AUT, Attraktiv/Ivan Nieto Sanchez/ESP, Amandori/Simone Pearce/AUS and the Olympic participant All at Once/Yessin Rahmouni/MAR. Also competing in Tokyo/JPN in 2021: Flambeau/Larissa Pauluis/BEL. His award-winning daughters are led by the Westphalian Champion Mare Anky and the mare Amicella, who produced the Westphalian Champion Stallion, Westphalian and Bundeschampion, dressage horse World Championship finalist, international Inter II-placed and Louisdor Prize fourth-placed Valverde.
Feinschmecker’s dam Dakota is a daughter of Dancier, the De Niro son and Donnerhall grandson.
Dancier, who left the breeding scene far too early, was Champion Stallion at the Hanoverian licensing in Verden in 2004, HLP Champion in Adelheidsdorf in 2005, Hanoverian Vice Riding Horse Champion in 2006 and bronze medallist of the four-year-old stallions at the Bundeschampionat in Warendorf. Later successful up to advanced (S) level, he also took off as a breeder. He has 58 licensed sons and numerous successful dressage horses up to Grand Prix level, which achieved an annual profit of 100,500 euros in 2024.
We are delighted with this highly interesting new addition and are looking forward to his first foal crop this year.
