Hanover - black bay - 2020 - height: 172cm

Description

LINDENBERG is another new addition to our stallion station for the 2024 breeding season.

Anyone who followed the Hanoverian Riding Horse Championships 2023 will remember the typical black-brown Libertad son very well. He was able to impress in the three-year-old category, was well presented by Jacob Schenk, and secured bronze.

The four-year-old also impressed across the board in the sports test for licensed stallions (06.02.-08.02.2024) in Münster-Handorf.
With the dressage final score of 9.07, he took second place – with the dream score of 10.0 for the trot. The other grades: canter 8.80, walk 8.00, rideability 9.20, overall impression 9.50).

His sire Libertad was the outstanding winner of his 50-day test in Schlieckau in 2016.

The final score was 9.06, with interior and external rider scores of 10.0 each. The four-year-old stallion thus led the test round by far. Libertad is the first licensed stallion from the East Frisian mare line Derka (by Amor).

The Londontime son is doing well on the international dressage stage with junior Allegra Schmitz-Morkramer. In 2022 and 2023 she won team gold with the German team at the FEI European Dressage Junior Championships. Libertad also helped his rider to individual gold in 2022 and individual silver in 2023.

Since the Hanoverian black stallion Libertad’s focus is clearly on sport, we are very pleased to be able to make these special genetics available to our breeders.

Dam’s father Destano is a son of Desperados (De Niro – Wolkenstein II) out of a dam of Brentano II – Imperato).

In 2019, Destano made his breakthrough into top international sport under Michelle Hagmann-Hassink. The following year, Simone Pearce took over Destano’s riding. As a pair, they were able to improve the Australian record twice in Grand Prix and Grand Prix Spécial, achieved a double victory at the CDI*** in Brno and secured their ticket to the Olympic Games in Tokyo.

Destano’s offspring production in sport already amounts to more than 209,000 euros and there are already 30 licensed stallions and 37 premium and state premium mares.

Many dressage horse breeders are delighted by just looking at the pedigree of this brilliant man. With the Thoroughbred Lauries Crusador xx, probably the most influential Thoroughbred in warmblood horse breeding, as well as Sandro Hit, De Niro, Donnerhall and Weltmeyer, there is so much good in LINDENBERG’s pedigree!
