Top-Class Pedigree

Sire Libertad – Champion Stallion and International Success

His sire, Libertad, was the outstanding winner of his 50-day performance test in Schlieckau in 2016.

He achieved an overall score of 9.06, with 10.0 for interior qualities and from the test riders, leading the test by a wide margin.

Libertad is the first licensed stallion from the East Frisian mare line of Derka (by Amor).

On the international dressage stage, the Londontime son is successfully competing with junior rider Allegra Schmitz-Morkramer.

Achievements with Allegra Schmitz-Morkramer:

  • 2022 & 2023: Team gold at the FEI European Dressage Championships for Juniors
  • 2022: Individual gold
  • 2023: Individual silver
  • 2024: Team gold at the European Championships for Young Riders in July 2024

Dam’s Sire Destano – Proven Sire and Grand Prix Success

LINDENBERG’s dam’s sire, Destano, is a son of Desperados (De Niro – Wolkenstein II) out of a Brentano II – Imperato dam.

In 2019, Destano broke through to the international top sport under Michelle Hagmann-Hassink. The following year, Simone Pearce took over his ride.

Together, they twice set new Australian records in Grand Prix and Grand Prix Special, achieved a double victory at the CDI* in Brno, and secured their ticket to the Tokyo Olympic Games.

Destano’s statistics (as of 2024):

  • 39 licensed sons
  • 161 sport-successful offspring
  • Annual earnings: €134,348

A Pedigree That Excites

For many dressage horse breeders, just a glance at LINDENBERG’s pedigree is enough to impress, as he carries the blood of:

  • Lauries Crusador xx – arguably the most influential Thoroughbred in Warmblood breeding
  • Sandro Hit
  • De Niro
  • Donnerhall
  • Weltmeyer

…combining some of the finest genetics in modern dressage breeding.

When considering his complete package – exceptional type, conformation, movement quality, rideability, and character, it becomes evident that LINDENBERG is an outstanding prospect for dressage horse breeders.
