Veneno - Fidertanz

Hanoverian · Bay · 2016 · Height: 171 cm

Description

This year, the focus for Valdiviani remains clearly on his sporting development. This is why Isabell Werth’s great hope for young talent is only available this year through the use of frozen semen. As a sire, the Veneno son immediately made a splash with many highly modern, strong-moving foals, delivering several auction price highlights, such as at the Verden Online Foal Auction in June 2022. Veuve Clicquot, the Valdiviani son out of Sharline by Sir Donnerhall I, had already convincingly impressed across the board at the 1st Foal Show of the Schult Stallion Station in May and clinched the victory among the colt foals. When the virtual auction hammer fell, he set the top mark with 33,500 Euros after 51 bids. Once more, a fine success for Valdiviani and the breeders and exhibitors of Veuve Clicquot, Beate and Hans-Dieter Erfkemper.

At our Foal Show 2023, a Valdiviani colt out of a Henkie dam, bred by Rebecca Bongartz from Amel, was victorious among the colt foals. Vivaldhino Gold, bred by Philipp Welsing from Borken, the son of Valdiviani – Belissimo M, changed owners for 41,000 Euros at the Dressage Foal Auction during Westphalian Week 2023.

Valdiviani can now boast five approved sons as well as five premium and state premium mares. Particularly eye-catching was the Valdiviani son out of Bohemian Rhapsody (by Belissimo M), bred and owned by Ulla Katzorke from Essen. This impressive youngster was awarded at the Hanoverian Licensing 2022 and changed owners at the auction for 266,000 Euros.

The start of Valdiviani’s breeding career was at the Hanoverian Licensing 2018 in Verden, which the strong-moving, very dynamic Veneno son left as a premium stallion. He completed his 14-day test in Neustadt (Dosse) in 2019 with his highest scores of 9.50 for character/temperament, 9.25 for interior, and 9.00 for willingness to perform. In 2020, Valdiviani completed the sport test for approved stallions in Münster-Handorf, finishing with a dressage-focused final score of 8.27. His individual scores: trot 8.70, canter 8.40, walk 7.70, rideability 8.20, overall impression 8.50.

Valdiviani also convincingly completed the sport test for approved stallions in April 2021 in Münster-Handorf, finishing with a dressage-focused final score of 8.40 (trot 8.50, canter 9.20, walk 7.60, rideability 8.30, overall impression 8.50). Veneno (Vitalis – Diamond Hit), Valdiviani’s sire, is noted not only for his sporting successes in the big arena but also for producing highly talented offspring.

In May 2023, Valdiviani made his competition debut under the saddle of Isabell Werth at a dressage tournament in Hamminkeln in an S-level dressage class for young horses. With 69.127 percent, the pair won the second division and simultaneously delivered the second-best overall result.

With a 5th place in the final of the World Championships for Young Dressage Horses (7yo) in Ermelo, it was once again clear that Isabell Werth’s great young hope is also on the right track in terms of sport.

When the dam’s side features a sire as proven over many years as Fidertanz, the Hanoverian Stallion of the Year 2021 from our own breeding, a very special breeding product can emerge – and with Valdiviani, it has been splendidly successful.
